Children and pets change the treatment
The products and placements you'd use in an empty commercial unit are not the ones you'd use in a house with a toddler and a cat. That's a treatment decision, and it has to be made before you arrive with a van full of one option.

Fewer calls, better numbers
A phone call is a fine way to build trust and a terrible way to collect specifications - nobody remembers everything, and nothing is written down. Collect the facts in writing first, and use the call for the part that actually needs a human.
You'll also stop quoting jobs you didn't want: when the form asks about budget and timing, the mismatches disqualify themselves.
Address, access and "is anyone home?"
The details that decide whether a visit is 40 minutes or two hours are all logistical: the postcode, the parking, how many rooms, whether there's a dog, who's letting you in.
Ask them once on a form and you can schedule properly, price honestly, and stop arriving at jobs that were described optimistically.

Should I ask them to identify the pest?
Offer a list with "not sure" and ask for a photo link. Misidentification is common - especially between rats and mice, and between different flying insects - so treat the answer as a hint.
How do I handle repeat visits in a quote?
Say up front how many visits a treatment normally includes. Most complaints in pest control come from customers expecting one visit to end it.
Can I ask for photos or files?
Not yet - uploads are on the roadmap. In the meantime, most people ask for a link to photos, or reply to the response with an email asking for them. Everything else about the job is captured here.
Can I see where each quote request came from?
