Application Form
An application form is any form where you'll be comparing the answers. That single fact should shape every choice you make in building it: same questions, same order, same options, every time.
For small businesses and independent professionals.
Comparable beats comprehensive
The temptation is to ask everything. But an application form's job isn't to collect the most information - it's to let you line up twenty submissions and see which is strongest. Free-text answers to different questions are impossible to rank.
So this template leans on fixed options wherever a fixed option will do, keeps the open questions few and specific, and puts the disqualifying questions first. What you get is a spreadsheet you can sort, rather than twenty documents you have to read twice.
The same questions, in the same order, every time
Applications that arrive as emails and attachments are impossible to compare - one has the dates, another has the budget, none of them have both. You end up rebuilding each one by hand before you can make a decision.
A single form fixes that at the source: every application has the same fields, so reviewing is reading a table rather than reconstructing one.
The forms every business needs, without the software
Most businesses need four or five forms and get sold a platform with forty features. The result is a monthly bill, a builder to learn and a page that takes three seconds to appear.
This is the opposite: one template, edited in a minute, published as a page that loads in one request. Free for your first form, and $10 a month if you need more than one.
One link, and a written record
Share one link and every application lands in one place, timestamped, in the applicant's own words - which is exactly what you want if a decision is ever questioned.
Make it yours in a minute
Change the wording, drop the questions you don't need, add the ones you do, put your own colour on it. Saving publishes it, and you get a link to paste into your website, your email signature or a message. Responses land in your dashboard and download as a spreadsheet whenever you want them.

Questions
Can I use one form for different kinds of application?
You can, with a first question that branches - but two forms is usually cleaner. Duplicating a form takes one click, and each gets its own link and its own list of responses.
Can applicants come back and finish later?
Not yet - there's no save-and-resume. Keeping applications to something completable in one sitting is the better answer anyway; anything longer belongs in a two-stage process.
Can applicants attach a CV or document?
Not yet - file uploads are on the roadmap. Most people ask for a link (to a portfolio, a CV in cloud storage, or a profile) which works today and keeps the form fast.
Can I close applications on a deadline?
Yes. Close the form and anyone with the link sees a short closed page instead of the questions, so nobody fills in an application that can't be considered.
Can more than one person review them?
Yes - invite your team into the same account and they'll see the same responses. You can also export to a spreadsheet and score them wherever you like.
How many forms can I have?
One on the free plan, with ten responses. Pro is $10 a month for unlimited forms and unlimited responses - one plan, no tiers, no per-response pricing.
