Questions
Should I ask for t-shirt size?
If you're giving out shirts, yes - it's the detail that gets forgotten and then costs a rush order. Ask it once here rather than in a group chat later.
How do I handle volunteers who don't show up?
Ask for a mobile number and confirm shifts by text a few days before. The form gives you the list; a short confirmation message is what turns it into attendance.
Can I close sign-ups when I have enough?
Yes - close the form and the link shows a short closed page instead of the questions. Reopen it whenever you like.
Can I email everyone who signed up?
Export the responses as a spreadsheet and use whatever you already send email with. ava42 collects the list; it isn't a mailing tool.
Do people need an account?
No. Only you have an account. Anyone with the link can fill the form in, with no sign-up and no app.
Can I use one form for several events?
Ask which event in a dropdown and filter the responses by it, or duplicate the form for each one so each has its own link and its own list. Duplicating takes a click.
