Event Registration Form
An event registration form is the one form where getting the boring fields right matters most. Names as they should appear, what people can eat, and how they get into the room.
For wedding planners, venues, event coordinators and suppliers.
Ask for the badge name separately
Legal names and the name someone wants on a badge are different things more often than you'd think - shortened names, married names, chosen names. Getting it wrong on a lanyard is a small humiliation you handed someone on arrival.
It costs one extra optional field. The same logic applies to accessibility: asking openly, in a way that can be answered in a sentence, gets you the requirement in advance instead of an apology on the day.
One list, not five threads
Registrations that arrive by email, text and word of mouth become a headcount nobody trusts. You find out on the day that two people thought they were signed up and one wasn't.
This template makes one list, with the same details for every person, in the order they registered.
Dates, headcounts and the details nobody volunteers
Every event enquiry needs the same four facts - date, numbers, venue, budget - and almost none arrive with them. Asking on a form means your first reply can be availability and a price rather than a questionnaire.
The awkward details are easier on a form too: dietary requirements, accessibility, plus ones and the timings that only matter on the day.
A QR code away
Every form has a plain link, so a poster, a flyer or a QR code on the door is enough. Nobody has to find your website to sign up.
Edit it like a document, publish like a link
Add questions, remove questions, change the order and the wording, set your accent colour. When you save, the form is live at its own address - share it by link, QR code or a button on your site, and read the answers in your dashboard.

Questions
Can I sell tickets through this?
Not directly - payments aren't built in. Collect registrations and send a payment link or invoice, which for free and internal events removes a step entirely.
Can one person register several people?
Ask for the group size and the names in one text field, or ask each attendee to submit separately. Separate submissions give you accurate dietary and access data per person, which is usually worth the extra minute.
Can I stop registrations when we're full?
Yes. Close the form and the link shows a short closed page, so nobody registers for a place that doesn't exist. Reopen it in one click if space frees up.
Can I collect one registration per person or per group?
Either. Many people ask for the group size and the names in one text box; others publish the link and ask everyone to fill it in individually.
Can I get the list as a spreadsheet?
Yes - one click exports every response as CSV, which opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
Can I use one form for several events?
Ask which event in a dropdown and filter the responses by it, or duplicate the form for each one so each has its own link and its own list. Duplicating takes a click.
