Home Valuation Request Form
A home valuation request form is the highest-value form an estate agent has. Its job is to book an appointment while asking just enough to prepare properly.
For estate agents, realtors, brokers and property teams.
Ask why they're moving, and when
A homeowner curious about their equity and one with a job offer in another city need completely different conversations. The first wants a number; the second wants to know how fast you can sell.
So this template asks the reason and the timeline, and keeps everything else short - because the goal is the appointment, not a complete property record. Nine questions gets you through the door; twenty-five loses the instruction to the agent who asked five.
A quote request that actually contains the job
"How much do you charge?" is unanswerable, and answering it with a range makes you look expensive to some and cheap to others. The fix isn't a longer reply - it's a better question.
Scope, timing, location and budget are on this form because those four answers turn a vague enquiry into something you can price with confidence, usually without a call.
Buyers, sellers and viewings all need different questions
A buyer needs budget, area and timing; a seller needs an address and a reason for moving; a viewing needs a date and a phone number. One "contact us" box serves none of them well.
Purpose-built forms get you a lead you can act on the same hour - which in a market where speed decides the instruction is the whole game.
Let them show you, not describe it
A sentence about the problem is a guess; a photo is a fact. This template asks for the details in the client's own words *and* keeps the questions short enough that they answer all of them.

Questions
How short should a valuation form be?
Short. The purpose is booking a visit - you'll see the property yourself. Address, type, bedrooms, reason and timing is enough.
Should I offer an instant online estimate?
You can, but be careful: an automated figure sets an anchor you may have to argue down in person. Most agents do better offering a real appointment quickly.
Can I ask for photos or files?
Not yet - uploads are on the roadmap. In the meantime, most people ask for a link to photos, or reply to the response with an email asking for them. Everything else about the job is captured here.
Can I see where each quote request came from?
Yes. Add a hidden tracking parameter to the link (for example one link on your site and another on your Google profile) and it's stored with the response.
How fast can I put this live?
About a minute. Pick the template, change the wording, press save - saving is publishing - and you get a link to share.
Can I put this on a property listing?
Yes - the form has its own link, so it can sit behind an enquiry button on a listing, in a portal message or in a QR code on a board. Add a tracking parameter to the link and you'll know which listing it came from.
