Fundraising Event Registration Form

A fundraising event registration form does two jobs: it registers a participant, and it sets a fundraising expectation. The second one is where most charities are too shy.

For charities, nonprofits and community groups.

Ask for a target, because people hit the one they name

Participants who set a fundraising target raise significantly more than those who don't - not because they're pushed, but because a number they chose themselves becomes something they work towards.

So this template asks for a target as an ordinary field, with a suggested range next to it. It also asks whether they've fundraised before and whether they'd like support - which identifies the first-timers who most need a nudge and a template email.

Registration that closes itself

The worst version of this is taking registrations you can't honour. Close the form when you're full and everyone with the link sees that immediately, instead of signing up and finding out later.

Built for organisations counting every pound

Nonprofits get charged per user for software that exists to collect a name and an email. One form is free here, and unlimited forms are $10 a month - not a quote, not a "contact sales", not a nonprofit discount you have to apply for.

The pages are also fast on old phones and poor connections, which matters when the people you serve are the ones least likely to have a new device.

Works from a phone, in a queue

Half of these get filled in on a phone while someone is standing in front of you. One small page, no app, no login - it opens and it submits, even on a bad signal.

Yours to change, immediately

Nothing here is fixed. Rewrite a question, reorder them by dragging, add your brand colour, delete half of it. Save and the live form updates - there's no separate publish step and no deploy to wait for.

Questions

Can I take the registration fee here?

Not directly - collect the registration and send a payment link. Many charities also let participants choose between paying a fee and committing to a higher target.

Should I ask for a fundraising page link?

Ask for it, but expect it to be blank at registration - most people set one up later. Ask again in a follow-up email; the field here is for the ones who already have one.

Can I stop registrations when we're full?

Yes. Close the form and the link shows a short closed page, so nobody registers for a place that doesn't exist. Reopen it in one click if space frees up.

Can I collect one registration per person or per group?

Either. Many people ask for the group size and the names in one text box; others publish the link and ask everyone to fill it in individually.

Can I get the list as a spreadsheet?

Yes - one click exports every response as CSV, which opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.

Do you have a nonprofit discount?

The price is $10 a month for everything, which is usually below the discounted tier elsewhere. The free plan is genuinely usable for a single form.
