Community Service Signup Form
A community service signup form has to work for individuals and for groups. A single volunteer and a company team of twenty need the same form and produce very different planning.
For charities, nonprofits and community groups.
Ask whether it's one person or twenty
A group booking changes everything: how many tools you need, how many supervisors, whether the project is even big enough. Yet most sign-up forms assume one person, so a corporate team of eighteen arrives as eighteen separate registrations - or as one, with a note nobody read.
So this template asks the group size early and adapts. It also asks about the physical demands honestly, because sending someone with a bad back to a hedge-laying day helps nobody.
Ask what you need to place people well
A name and an email gets you a list. Availability, interests and experience get you people you can actually use - and it's far less awkward to ask on a form than in a phone call.
Built for organisations counting every pound
Nonprofits get charged per user for software that exists to collect a name and an email. One form is free here, and unlimited forms are $10 a month - not a quote, not a "contact sales", not a nonprofit discount you have to apply for.
The pages are also fast on old phones and poor connections, which matters when the people you serve are the ones least likely to have a new device.
Share it anywhere
A link works in a newsletter, a text, a slide at the end of a meeting or a QR code on a noticeboard. No app, no login, nothing to install.
Edit it like a document, publish like a link
Add questions, remove questions, change the order and the wording, set your accent colour. When you save, the form is live at its own address - share it by link, QR code or a button on your site, and read the answers in your dashboard.

Questions
Can companies sign up a team through this?
Yes - the group question handles it. Ask for one contact plus a headcount rather than individual details, and collect names later if you need them.
Should I ask about physical ability?
Ask what tasks people are comfortable with rather than about health. It gets you what you need for planning without asking anyone to disclose a condition.
Can I close sign-ups when I have enough?
Yes - close the form and the link shows a short closed page instead of the questions. Reopen it whenever you like.
Can I email everyone who signed up?
Export the responses as a spreadsheet and use whatever you already send email with. ava42 collects the list; it isn't a mailing tool.
Do people need an account?
No. Only you have an account. Anyone with the link can fill the form in, with no sign-up and no app.
Do you have a nonprofit discount?
The price is $10 a month for everything, which is usually below the discounted tier elsewhere. The free plan is genuinely usable for a single form.
