Recruiter Contact Form

A recruiter contact form has two completely different audiences: employers with a vacancy and candidates looking for work. Sorting them in the first question is the whole job.

For recruiters, staffing agencies and in-house talent teams.

Two audiences, one inbox, opposite urgency

A live vacancy is revenue and it is urgent. A speculative candidate enquiry is pipeline and it isn't. Treated the same, the vacancy waits behind fifteen CVs and a competitor fills it.

So the first question here routes it, and each branch asks its own follow-ups: role and urgency for an employer, sector and availability for a candidate. Neither gets asked questions that make no sense for them, which is why both actually finish the form.

Route it once, correctly

Asking what the message is about is the difference between an inbox and a queue. One dropdown means the right person can pick it up without three forwards.

Comparable candidates, not forty differently-formatted CVs

The slow part of hiring isn't reading CVs - it's normalising them. Availability, location, right to work, salary expectation and notice period asked identically make a shortlist a sort rather than a project.

It's also a better candidate experience: a five-minute form that clearly asks what matters beats an inbox that never replies.

Answers in one place

Every message lands in the same list, timestamped and searchable, and can be emailed to you as it arrives. Nothing lost in a shared inbox.

Edit it like a document, publish like a link

Add questions, remove questions, change the order and the wording, set your accent colour. When you save, the form is live at its own address - share it by link, QR code or a button on your site, and read the answers in your dashboard.

Questions

Should employers and candidates use separate forms?

They can, but one form with a routing question means one link to share everywhere. Conditional questions mean each side only sees what applies to them.

How quickly should we reply to an employer enquiry?

Within the hour if you can. A live vacancy is usually being discussed with two or three agencies, and the first credible reply gets the brief.

Will I get spam?

Far less than a published email address. Every form carries a hidden trap field that automated submitters fill in and humans never see, and those submissions are silently discarded.

Can I send messages to a shared inbox?

Yes. Notifications go to a list of addresses you choose, so a team alias works as well as one person.

Can I add this to my website?

Link to it from anywhere - a button, a nav item, a footer. It's a normal page with its own URL, so no embedding or code is required.

Can candidates attach a CV?

Not yet - uploads are on the roadmap. Asking for a link to a CV or profile works today, and the structured answers are usually what you screen on anyway.
