Occupancy decides how long the shoot takes
An empty property is a straightforward hour. An occupied one means moving a laundry rack, waiting for a toddler to leave the room, and negotiating with an owner who wants their collection in shot. Same square footage, twice the time.
So this template asks about occupancy and who'll be there, alongside the room count and the deadline. It also asks whether the property is styled or needs to be shot as-is - which is the expectation gap that causes most agent complaints.

The expensive mistakes are the small ones: the wrong size, the wrong date, the allergy nobody mentioned. When the customer types it themselves, there's no transcription to get wrong and no argument later about what was said.
Date, location, deliverables - the three that set the price
Every shoot enquiry needs the date, where it is, and what they actually need at the end. Without those you can't say whether you're free, let alone what it costs.
Asking on a form also surfaces the things that quietly double a job: travel, a second shooter, usage rights, a same-week turnaround.

Questions
Should I ask about floor plans and video separately?
Yes - they're different deliverables with different pricing and turnaround. Bundling them into "photography" causes billing arguments.
How do I handle access?
Ask who holds the keys and get a mobile number. Turning up to a locked property is the single biggest cost in property photography.
Can I take payment on the form?
Not yet. Most people use this to capture the order and then invoice or take payment on collection - which also means you can confirm availability before charging anyone.
Can I limit what people can order?
Yes. Options are lists you control, so only what you actually sell appears - and you can close the form when you're at capacity.
Will I be told about new orders straight away?
Yes, if you turn on live notifications: each order is emailed to you as it arrives. Otherwise they collect in your dashboard.
Can clients see my work from the form?
The page is yours to write, so link to your portfolio in the introduction or in a question. Many photographers put the form behind an "Enquire" button so the gallery does the selling first.
