Permanence and risks

A tattoo is permanent. Removal is expensive, painful, takes many sessions and rarely removes it completely. Tastes and circumstances change, and placement on hands, feet, fingers and faces fades and blurs faster than elsewhere.

I understand a tattoo is permanent and that removal is imperfect (required)

Risks include infection, allergic reaction to ink, swelling, bruising, scarring, blowouts, patchy healing and colour fading. Some skin does not hold ink evenly. Healing takes two to four weeks and touch-ups are sometimes needed.
