An AI form generator that produces a real, editable form
Type a sentence about the form you need and get a working form, not a wall of suggestions: the right question types, sensible options, conditional questions where they make sense, and validation. Then edit anything you like, because it's an ordinary form from that moment on.
It writes a form, not a document
Ask for "a conference RSVP: ticket type, and if they're coming in person ask about dietary needs; rank which talks they want to see" and you get a select for the ticket, a conditional dietary question that appears only for in-person attendees, and a drag-to-rank question for the talks. Every field has a name, a label, the right type and the right options.
The output is constrained to a valid form schema and re-validated on our side before anything is published, so it can't produce a form that doesn't work. What it can produce is a form that isn't quite what you meant - which is why it drops you straight into the builder rather than publishing.
The fastest part is the editing
Generation takes a couple of seconds. The real saving is that you start from something 80% right instead of an empty page - rewriting three labels and deleting a question is much faster than deciding what to ask.
And because it lands in the normal builder, everything works as usual: drag to reorder, change types, add conditions, set your accent colour. Saving publishes.
What it won't do
It won't invent a brand colour for you - generated forms use the default palette, because a form that arrives an unexplained shade of blue is a small mystery you then have to fix. It won't add a webhook. And it won't publish anything without you pressing save.
There's a spending cap of $5 of generation per organisation per month, which resets on the 1st. It exists so a runaway script can't run up a bill, and in normal use you will never see it.
Or start from 345 templates instead
If your form is a common one - a client intake, a booking request, a consent form, a maintenance report - there is probably a template for it already, written by hand, with a live example you can fill in. Those are free on every plan and don't need AI at all.
Questions
Is the AI builder free?
It's part of Pro at $10 a month. Templates and building by hand are free - and for most common forms a template is faster than describing one.
Which model do you use?
A small, fast model by default, chosen by benchmarking accuracy against speed on real form descriptions. It's configurable if you self-host.
Does my prompt or my response data train a model?
No. Prompts go to the provider to generate the form and nothing else. Your respondents' answers never leave your account.
What if the generated form is wrong?
Edit it - it opens in the builder, unpublished, and behaves like any other form. Nothing goes live until you save.
Try a real form before you decide
Every template has a live example you can fill in - no account, nothing stored. Free to start: one form, ten responses, no card.
